Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) provides certification services to ultrasound students. If you meet the ISO-18436 experience requirements, complete a MIBoC approved training course, pass the certification examination but fail to pass a hearing test, you will become conditionally certified according to ISO 18436-1 and ISO 18436-8.

By issuing this certificate, Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) attests that the recipient has met the requirements required by ISO 18436-1 and ISO 18436-8 (with the exception of passing a hearing test) to be a conditionally certified ultrasound analyst. MIBoC attests to the qualification of the individual but does not give any authority to work. The employer shall be fully responsible for the authorization for an employee or contracted individual to perform ultrasound analysis activities, and the quality and validity of the results of such work.
