Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) provides certification services to ultrasound students. If you meet the ISO-18436 experience requirements, complete a MIBoC approved training course, pass the certification examination and pass a hearing test, you will become certified according to ISO 18436-1 and ISO 18436-8. By issuing this certificate, Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) attests that the recipient has met the requirements required by ISO 18436-1 and ISO 18436-8 to be a certified ultrasound analyst. MIBoC attests to the qualification of the individual but does not give any authority to work. The employer shall be fully responsible for the authorization for an employee or contracted individual to perform ultrasound analysis activities, and the quality and validity of the results of such work.
